Jason Duncan went from bagging groceries to bagging Baja wins. The San Diego native built his first race truck from scratch, took a championship his rookie season, and earned his seat next to off-road legends. As co-driver for Luke McMillin, Jason’s precision and endurance helped secure multiple Baja 1000 and SCORE titles. That same mindset drives SDG — performance built by racers, not marketers. Jason brings the blend of experience, business sense, and determination that fuels SDG’s growth — from garage startup to a 10,000-square-foot performance powerhouse.

HOW WE STARTED

  • SDG's inception mirrors the classic tale of garage beginnings. Roommates Todd and Jason embarked on their entrepreneurial journey, fueled by a shared passion for racing. Todd's mountain bike bartered for two shock bays symbolized the humble origins of their venture, firmly rooted in their racing aspirations.
  • We started the company in the garage of my house in El Cajon in March of 2017
  • Got our first win at the 2017 Baja 500 with Andy McMillin
  • We moved to a 1300 sq/ft shop in Santee, San Diego in July of 2018

OUR PROGRESS

  • From their modest garage setup, SDG embarked on a journey of growth and evolution. The transition to a 1300 square foot shop marked a significant milestone, signaling their expanding expertise and ambition. It was within these walls that the seeds of innovation were sown, laying the groundwork for the development of SXS UTV and propelling SDG forward.
  • First Score Champinoship with Bryce Swaim and Aj Jones in TT Spec 6100 in 2018.
  • In 2019 our tuned Trophy Trucks won and overalled every score that year.
  • First Baja 1000 win and overall with Alan

  • Today, SDG operates from a large 10,000 square foot facility, reflecting their strong dedication and commitment to excellence. With multiple championships under their belt, their success speaks to their expertise in the field. Expanding beyond racing, SDG now caters to everyday recreational users, focusing on innovation and customer satisfaction.
